19th Sunday of Ordinary Time
"Do not be afraid"
Courage is a part of free will. So do not let yourself be stepped on, but instead claim your truth, come to existence as a person. Do not sit in a corner and look daggers watching what's going on in the big game called life. Instead, join the fight for goodness, for wisdom in your nation, in your community, in your family, and within you.
Don't be afraid that they might shout you down, laugh you out; that they might point their fingers at you; because you have such ideas; because you stick your nose out; because you should be quiet. Do not hide your opinion, do not put it away; but instead say it, shout it out, yell. Not behind anybody's back, but straight in the face. React, admonish, show your point of view, and explain your position, your judgment.
You might even give in, but only if they manage to convince you.
