21st Sunday of Ordinary Time
"Blessed are you"
Woe unto us Christians, when we are persecuted for our conceit, presumption, wealth, lack of tolerance, lack of ecumenical spirit, poverty, humility, simplicity, love, forgiveness, and frankness.
Let's not complain when they persecute us for kindness, warmth, help, forgiveness, remission, patience, tolerance, and giving a hand. Praise be to God, then, because Jesus - our Brother and Master -- was like that. He was open and tolerant to pagans and Samaritans, to the poor and simple, to the sinners, tax collectors and traitors. And He helped them live.
