8TH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME
“More important than birds”
See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them.
Aren't you of much more value than they?
We wait the whole lifetime for such words. To know that we are not garbage, but that we are loved by God.
How many times the ground shook under your feet and you felt the absurdity of life, the emptiness around you and within you, you felt lonely and suspended in a vacuum – on the brink of despair.
It is in such moments that you should repeat these very words of Jesus, even if you have to do it through the clenched teeth - but nevertheless, repeat them over and over again.

9TH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME – THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
“House on the rock”
Give thanks. To whom? When? Why? For what? For everything!
Giving thanks is in a significant way a part of our humanity. We are thanksgiving. Our life is thanksgiving. Our words, our deeds are thanksgiving.
Give thanks for the time of your childhood. For parents and siblings. For school, for friends and acquaintances. For the community, in which you live. For the nation, to which you belong. Through them you’ve have grown and you are still growing.
And give thanks for being called to existence. For being called to heavenly happiness.
Give thanks. Because giving thanks is an expression of your love for God. Because by giving thanks to God, you give thanks to your neighbor and by giving thanks to a neighbor – you give thanks to God.
