„Żyjący Ojciec”

Przebuduj dekalog na swój prywatny, osobisty użytek. Proponuję: zamiast: „nie zabijaj” wstaw – bądź twórczy, zamiast „nie cudzołóż” – bądź wierny, zamiast „nie kradnij” – bądź uczciwy, zamiast „nie mów fałszywego świadectwa” – bądź prawy, zamiast „nie pożądaj” – ciesz się ze szczęścia drugiego.

Niech dekalog nie będzie dla ciebie serią zakazów, ale ukonkretnieniem przykazania miłości. A wszystko po to, aby zatęsknić za takim życiem.

”Living Father”

     Rebuild Decalogue for your own, private use.  I propose: instead of „Thou shall not kill” you put – „Be creative,” instead „Thou shall not commit adultery” – „Be faithful”, instead of „Thou shall not steal” – „Be honest”, instead of „Thou shall not bear false witness” – „Be righteous”, instead of „Thou shall not covet” – „Delight in the happiness of others.”
     Don’t let Decalogue become a series of restrictions for you, but instead let it be the substance of the commandment of love. All of it is supposed to make you long for that kind of life.
