XXVI NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA

„Należycie do Chrystusa”

     Pytać o to, skąd przyszedłem, dokąd idę. Pytać o sens mojego życia. O sens mojej pracy i cierpienia. O sens mojej bezinteresowności i przebaczenia.
     Nikt za ciebie tej rozmowy nie przeprowadzi, nie wyręczy cię. Każdy z nas musi sam rozmawiać z Bogiem na temat sensu swojego życia.
     To rozmowa poważna – ale nie smutna. A nawet wręcz przeciwnie. Bo w tej rozmowie może odkryjesz z największą radością, że twoje staranie, aby pracować jak najlepiej, ma sens. I że ma sens twoje kształcenie się i twórczość. I twoje pragnienie, abyś przeszedł przez życie dobrze czyniąc.

”You belong to Christ”

     Ask where you have come from, to where you are going.  Ask about the sense of your life, the sense of your work and suffering, the sense of your selflessness and forgiveness.
     Nobody is going to make that conversation for you; nobody will substitute for you.  Everyone by himself has to talk to God about the sense of his or her life. 
     It is a serious conversation, but not a sad one.  Just the opposite, because maybe during this conversation, with the greatest joy, you will discover that your effort to do the best job you can, makes sense, that your studies and creativity make sense, and so does your desire to go through life performing good deeds.
