CZWARTA NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA

„Aby Go strącić”

     Wszystkim nam to grozi – że nas szatan opęta. Ale najpierw zaczną się pomruki zbliżającej się burzy, rozlegnie się nagły szum – początek lawiny. Jeszcze możemy się ratować. Ale gdy się jej poddamy, runie i zniszczy nas. To może być nienawiść, złość, zemsta albo interesowność, chciwość, pazerność albo pycha, próżność, chęć zdominowania innych. Zły duch tak nas opęta, że zatracimy się, on będzie nami kierował, ogarnie nas i podporządkuje sobie.

”To hurl Him down”

     This threatens all of us – that Satan will ensnare us.  But before that happens there will be rumble of approaching storm, a sudden noise will spread -the beginning of an avalanche.  We can still save ourselves.  But if we surrender to it, it will come crashing down and destroy us.  This can be hatred, anger, revenge or self-interest, greed, avarice, conceit or the desire to dominate others.  The evil spirit will overcome us so much that we will loose ourselves, he will be controlling us and he will overrun and subjugate us to him.
