I NIEDZIELA ADWENTU

„Kiedy ten czas nadejdzie”

     Bóg nas powołał do życia. A my idziemy. Odmierzamy nasze dnie, tygodnie, miesiące, lata ziemskiego życia, mając w podświadomości, że zawsze nas może przenieść do życia w niebie.
     A my musimy być gotowi na ten moment, na to „zawsze”. Że nie zdążymy rozdać tego, co nagromadziliśmy. Nie potrafimy nawet postawić kropki nad i. Nie powiemy tego, na czym nam tak bardzo zależało. Nie domkniemy drzwi naszego domu. Nie zdołamy przeprosić, kogo należało. – Że nie zdążą nam podziękować, przeprosić, zadośćuczynić ci, którzy nas skrzywdzili.
     A my już będziemy przeniesieni na tamtą stronę, gdzie jest ważne to, co chcieliśmy uczynić, a nie tylko to, co zdążyliśmy.

1st Sunday of Advent

”When this time comes”

     God has called us to life.  And so we keep going.  We measure out our days, weeks, months, and years of life on Earth, keeping in mind that at any time He can relocate us to life in heaven.
     We have to be ready for this moment, for this: „at any time.”  We are not going to have enough time to give away everything that we have gathered.  We will not dot our i’s and cross our t’s. .  We will not be able to say what we really want to say.  We won’t close the door all the way.  We won’t be able to apologize to whom we should have.  Others will not be able to thank us, apologize to us, and make up to us if they had wronged us in any way.
     We will be on the other side, where what we wanted to do is truly important, not only what we have managed to do.
