Nie zobaczysz
Józefa i Marii ani Jezusa
nie usłyszysz
aniołów śpiewających
nie przeżyjesz
faktu, że On dla ciebie się narodził.
Dostrzeżesz tylko
choinkę zawieszoną kolorowymi bańkami, może jeszcze
stół wigilijny z białym obrusem i może
usłyszysz kolędy. Ale
one ci i tak niewiele powiedzą.

Po świętach pozostanie ci niesmak jak
po utrudzeniu, które
niczemu nie służyło.

Nie spotkasz Boga, jeżeli na Niego
nie będziesz czekał.

You won’t see
neither Mary and Joseph, nor Jesus,
You won’t hear
the angels singing
You won’t experience
the fact that He was born for you
You will only notice
colorful Christmas tree balls, maybe
the table covered with snow- white tablecloth and maybe
you will hear some carols. But
the songs won’t tell you much any way. 

After Christmas you will have a feeling of disgust
like after fatigue that
was useless.

You won’t meet God, if you don’t
wait for Him.
