28th Sunday of Ordinary Time
"Come to the feast"
We are constantly on an emotional roller coaster. Now, we hear about God's love for us and we take liberties with Him. We treat Him like a brother, almost ready to slap Him on the back. But it is enough to look at the starry sky during a cloudless night; the sky filled with the stars of our galaxy and to realize that there are millions of such galaxies, to fall into another extreme and to be crushed by God's might. Then we may regard the truth that He loves us as a childish fairy tale.
It requires tremendous faith to accept the truth that God, who created the universe, loves each and every one of us.
