Zobaczyć Jezusa

     Przed każdym morderstwem stoimy jak sparaliżowani. Przed każdym zabitym człowiekiem – jesteśmy bezradni i przestraszeni złością ludzką.
     Ale przed męczeńską śmiercią sióstr wizytek to zdumienie jest jeszcze większe. Bo za co? Przecież nie robiły nic złego. Przecież żyły za klauzurą, modliły się, żyły w prostocie serca, pomagały ludziom. I za to je zabić?
     Jezus nam to tłumaczy: Gdybyście byli ze świata, świat by was miłował jako swoją własność. Jeżeli Mnie prześladowali, to i was będą prześladować.

To see Jesus

     In the face of every murder we stand as if paralyzed.  In the face of every killed person — we are left helpless and terrified by human evil. 
     But when we consider the martyr’s death of Visitation Sisters our astonishment is even greater.  We ask why?  They were not doing anything wrong.  For they lived in enclosure, they prayed, lived out of the simplicity of their hearts and helped others.  So that’s why they were killed?
     Jesus explains this for us: If you were of the world, the world would love its own. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you.
