Jezus odpowiedział

     Jezus jest wywołany przed szereg. Uczony w Piśmie pyta Go o najważniejsze z wszystkich przykazań.
     Jezus mówi – śpiewa, woła, wyznaje przed tym człowiekiem – swoją najgłębszą tajemnicę: Będziesz miłował Pana Boga swego całym swoim sercem; całą swoją duszą; całym swoim umysłem; całą swoją mocą. Drugie jest: Będziesz miłował bliźniego swego jak siebie samego.
     Powtarza to, co Mojżesz napisał. Ale On jest jedynym Człowiekiem na świecie, który mógł powiedzieć to naprawdę.
     Bo On to wyznał, czym żył.

     Jesus is called up to the front.  A Scribe asks Him what the most important of all commandments is.
     Jesus says – sings, calls, confesses in front of this man – His deepest secret:  You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul and with all your strength.  The second one is: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
     He repeats what Moses had written.  But He is the only Man in the world who could say this in truth.
     For He stated what He lived by.
