Co to jest prawda

     Ja się na to narodziłem i na to przyszedłem na świat, aby dać świadectwo prawdzie – mówi Jezus.
     Ze strony Piłata powinno nastąpić pytanie: Jakiej prawdzie chcesz dać świadectwo? Na coś się narodził i na co przyszedłeś na świat? To byłaby jedna z najważniejszych rozmów świata.
     Jednak Piłat odpowiada wymijająco: Co to jest prawda.
     My, na podstawie Ewangelii, możemy odpowiedzieć na to stwierdzenie Jezusa: Jezus przyszedł na świat i na to się narodził, aby dać świadectwo tej prawdzie, że Bóg jest Miłością. I że naszym jedynym przykazaniem jest: miłować.
     A my przypominamy Piłata. Nie pytamy, jakiej prawdzie. Wolimy powiedzieć: „Cóż to jest prawda” – jak Piłat.

What is the truth

     I have been born and have come into the world for this reason: to testify to the truth – Jesus said.
     Pilate should have asked a question:  What truth do you want to testify to?  For what reason have you been born and for what reason have you come to the world?  This would have been one of the most important conversations in the world.
     Pilate however prevaricates:  What is truth?
     Based on the Bible, we can provide an answer to this statement by Jesus: Jesus has come to the world and He has been born to testify to the truth that God is Love and that our only commandment is to love.
     But we resemble Pilate.  We don’t ask, “What kind of truth”?  We prefer to say:  “What is truth” – just like Pilate did.
