"He did not die"

To choose this one face out of all other faces, to retain this one voice out of the cacophony of other voices, to remember that one squeeze out of all the times that other hands touched you.
And then - to be an umbrella in the rain, to be the sunshine on a cloudy day, a morning star in the night, a fur coat in winter, a rock when the earth starts trembling.
And to continue that - throughout days and nights, months and years - to miss each other more and more, to need each other all the time.  To look into this one face and read in it great things, discover new layers of wisdom and feelings.  To apologize for some mishaps, clumsiness, and indelicacy, pointless gestures, unnecessary words, unkind deeds.  And to be happy that he/she shines like the sun, warms up like a coat, is there like a rock.
To be always together: here on earth and after death.
