Stone upon a stone

Everyone has his or her ruins.  We’ve built, we’ve erected, and we’ve been happy; we have enjoyed the achievements of our own hands, our own ideas, our plans.
And all of that, which seemed to have been so solid, has fallen apart.  But don’t give up.  Lift what has fallen, erect what has crumbled, and build up what has collapsed.  Perhaps it will be something different than the previous one was; maybe smaller, maybe lower, maybe not so ornate, but it will be more your own.
Don’t be surprised however when this too shall be destroyed, razed to the ground.
     Build once again.
